I've spent the last months actively working on new music. With the "pandemic album" Afterglow Of Ashes aptly digested, in mid-2022 new music started unexpectedly pouring out and I can say I feel positively overwhelmed with what I'm attempting here. As epic and grandiose as I‘ve ever pulled off, complex, progressive and just well... BIG. From synths and orchestras to FX-pedal ear-candy, all carried away by big guitar tones, driving catchy riffs & drums, huge melodies and dynamics. And the omnipresent electronica. Each song is like its own voyage, telling a rich and unique story.

The titles are equally cinematic and mysteriously evocative, reflecting the nature of the compositions, and while on the previous album I‘ve hinted at some rockier stuff, now this is full on realised all the way. The (heavy) rock has returned and is here to stay. Songs may start atmospheric and ethereally melodic, to suddenly hit you with a driving riff and a massive beat. The melodies and arrangements are certainly some of the best of my career. And it already sounds massive on phones, even without being wrapped up. Can't express how pumped up I am - so I won‘t any further.

I am working with a live drummer this time  - the return of the collab with Daniel Cardoso (Anathema, Vertigo Steps, etc.) and also guest singer Amado Peiró - both extremely talented. Songs which worked instrumentally were suddenly given a surprising infectious boost with unique vocal lines. Recordings for both already completed. Bassist Manuel Costa has been collaborating with me and he even co-penned one track. He‘s one of the sole witnesses to all the mad grandeur so far - also bringing his talent to the equation. This is the SINC album with more vocals and more rock to it (be it heavy, progressive or post!)
